Medical FAQ
Do operators need a medical before training?
For many operator and high-risk courses a valid medical is required or strongly recommended. ABC can do the medical and training together.
What should the worker bring?
An ID document, glasses or hearing aids if used, and a list of chronic medication.
How long is a medical certificate valid?
Usually 12 months, unless the occupational health practitioner sets a shorter period.
Is worker medical information kept confidential?
Yes. Medical records are handled confidentially; employers receive the fitness outcome and required reports.
